Ok, people awards season is upon us and I, as an avid award show devotee, am excited but I have some things to get off my chest first!

George Clooney, Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, Jean Dujardin, Michael Fassbender, and Ryan Gosling are the men of this 2012 season! Now, I love George and Brad as must as the next person but i’m sick and tired of them, their overrated! Jean Dujardin is a french actor who’s new to the American cinema and nailed it! He’s refreshing to watch in his film, The Artist, it is unique because it’s a silent film and it’s different from anything else today. I’m rooting for the film at the Oscars. Leonardo DiCaprio is my favorite this year, as he always is, and who should have won for every performance his given! He is simply the greatest actor of his generation and is the most versatile and diverse of the bunch. He never plays the same kind of characters twice. Leo makes - us, the audience, feel what he’s feeling in every performance! The only other actor that does that is Daniel Day-Lewis! I loved Leo in J.Edgar, although the aging make-up could have been better, he acted through it and gave an extraordinary and riveting performance! I don’t care what anybody says LEO DESERVES TO WIN! Give him the OSCAR already academy members if anybody deserves it, it’s him! Fassbender and Gosling are amazing actors as well but i don’t know where they stand against the others?! The actresses are a hell of alot tougher to choice from because they were all extraordinary. I mean come on queen Meryl Streep, Viola Davis, Michelle Williams, Rooney Mara, Glenn Close, Tilda Swinton, Kate Winslet, Jodi Foster, Charlize Theron, Kristen Wiig, Jessica Chastain, Octavia Spencer, and Berenice Bejo! They are all so fucking good! As for TV categories, Glee should win and 3-peat in TV (Comedy or Musical) because the glee cast is the MOST TALENTED AND HARDEST WORKING CAST ON TELEVISION TODAY, PERIOD and people need to respect that amount of talent and dedication!!! For TV (Drama) either American Horror Story or Game of Thrones I can’t decide cuz their both so good! My girl Kate Winslet will win for Mildred Pierce hands down!!!

So to recap my picks- Leonardo DiCaprio(Best Actor-Motion Picture), any actress can win and I’d be happy, Glee(TV-Comedy or Musical), American Horror Story or Game of Thrones(TV-Drama), and Kate Winslet(TV-Mini Series or Motion Picture Made for TV).
